Rejoice in the Lord

Rejoice in the Lord
By Ron Hamilton

God never moves without purpose or plan
When trying his servant, and molding a man!
Give thanks to the Lord though your testing seems long...
In darkness He giveth a song.

Oh, rejoice in the Lord -
He makes no mistake.
He knoweth the end of each path that I take.
For when I am tried and purified
I shall come forth as gold.

I could not see through the shadows ahead
so I looked at the cross of my Savior instead!
I bowed to the will of the Master that day...
Then peace came, and tears fled away.

Oh, rejoice in the Lord -
He makes no mistake.
He knoweth the end of each path that I take!
For when I am tried and purified...
I shall come forth as gold.

Now I can see testing comes from above
God strengthens his children and purges in love!
My Father knows best and I trust in His care...
Through purging, more fruit I will bear.

Oh, rejoice in the Lord -
He makes no mistake.
He knoweth the end of each path that I take!
For when I am tried and purified...
I shall come forth as gold.

Great song Kristi! a good reminder about trials and the gold they produce.

Wow... I feel so bad, it has truly been forever since I wrote to you. And OF COURSE I remember you! How are you doing? Life has been absolutely crazy for me... Where do I begin? To go waaaay back to when I last wrote, the TX campaign was awesome. I met some great people, and we ended up winning an extremely close campaign by less than 50 votes. It was just... great. I had an incredible time; I learned so much. Then, I came home, worked on scholarships (and I still am!), finished school, graduated, went back to TX and visited some friends, got a new job somewhere in there, and now... here I am, getting ready to start college in just about one month. So life has been crazy, but its been a good kind of crazy. How have you been? Did you go on the mission trip? Any college plans? Did you go to any more PHC camps this summer? We really have some catching up to do :D Thanks so much for the comment, it was so nice hearing from you again!
